Our students raised the magnificent sum of £511.30 in support of Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.
Year 11 GCSE Citizenship students have been campaigning to raise awareness and funds to support the Forget me Not Trust. The students came up with many different ways to fundraise, including a teacher bake off and a quiz. Students were keen to support this local charity as they felt it was important to " give back to the community". Forget Me Not Children's Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire. They support more than 185 children and their families through their hospice at home service and at their state of the art hospice, Russell House, in Huddersfield.
The charity were overwhelmd with the money raised by the NLC students and we are very proud of them too!
