Around the World Challenge

See what the PE Department are doing in support of Foget Me Not Children's Hospice.

We are proud to announce that we will be supporting the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice with their ‘Around the World’ challenge during Children’s Hospice Week (20th – 24th May 2019).

Forget Me Not supports children with life-shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire. The charity supports these families both at their hospice, Russell House, located in Huddersfield and through their hospice at home service, offering families a range of services from therapy to care. It costs £4 million each year to run the charity and with just 4% coming from government funding, the support of the community is vital.

Forget Me Not has delivered a fantastic assembly to our pupils which has hopefully inspired your child and really motivated them to get as much sponsorship as they can! Even a small amount raised by each of our pupils will help make a big difference to the lives of local children and families. Don’t forget to boost your donation by completing the Gift Aid details on the sponsorship form which will add 25p for every £1 you donate (at no extra cost to you)
