Miss Booth and Miss Teale took the U13 Girls Football Team and some of the year 11 BTEC students to Wembley to watch the England Women's Football Team take on the USA.

Despite it being an uneventful game but the pupils absolutely loved it!.

The U13 girls also took part in the EFL Cup hosted and affiliated by Huddersfield Town. This was attended by Kevin Nagle, the chairman of HTFC, who the girls were able to meet. They were also featured on the ITV News!

After some tough group games and knockout stages, one resulting in a penalty shootout, the girls made it to the final. After a closely fought game, they were defeated 1-0 and came runners up of the whole tournament, which is an absolutely outstanding achievement! ?
