Netherhall Learning Campus High School had such a fantastic week celebrating reading!

Staff were invited by Mrs Knott (English) to decorate their doors for World Book Day with images and themes associated with a book that they love!. Pupils then voted for their favourite door.

Miss Basic was the eventual winner with her 'Mean Girls' inspired door.

Other activities for World Book Day 2025 included :

World Book Day tokens  for every student in every year group given out in tutor time. The tokens were worth £1 to swap for a book or contribute towards a book. 

Masked Reader Miss Knott took photos of staff reading a book (covering their faces with their book) for pupils to try and guess who the 'readers' were. 

Reading posters Staff updated their reading posters with what they are currently reading alongside their favourite book.
